William Bradford Rosson (b. Aug. 25, 1918, Iowa-d. Dec. 12, 2004, Salem, Va.), U.S. Army officer, was a university graduate who entered the Army in 1940. He fought in ten campaigns with the 3rd Infantry in North Africa and Europe during World War II. At the age of 25, he was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for his actions at Anzio, Italy. He later served on the Army General Staff at the Pentagon, at NATO HQ in Paris, and on the staff of the chairman of the Joint Chiefs. During the 1960s ...
